ossie davis 1917-2005
"i became an actor because i thought guys like him would be everywhere, but his easy, unflappable style on camera - and his calm dignity in person - were all too rare in the film business. i'm honored to have worked with him at least once, on bubba ho-tep.
thankfully, those of you who want to brush up on your ossie davis filmography have half a century worth of movies available. get busy!"
